We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Multi-Asset Research Analyst to join our team at CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the investment industry, with a focus on top-down asset class and macro research. This role involves collaborating with portfolio managers and other analysts to support our investment strategies and client communications. This is a hybrid role with the expectation for an average of at least 3 days per week in the office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Conduct top-down asset class and macro research in support of CI GAM portfolios and client communications.

Provide quantitative research support for dashboards and models using fundamental, policy/liquidity, technical, and valuation data sources.

Summarize research findings from written reports, calls, webcasts, and in-person conferences.

Collaborate effectively with other analysts and portfolio managers on macro research initiatives.

Assist CI GAM on additional ad hoc projects as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in the investment industry.

Experience in a macro, top-down or multi-asset environment is preferred.

Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or finance.

Completion or enrollment in the CFA program.

Strong interest in investment markets and statistical tools for analysis.

Enjoyment in teamwork and engaging with investment professionals in a dynamic environment.

Strong statistical background and advanced Excel skills.

Knowledge in programming languages/tools such as Python, R, Matlab, etc.

Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, DataStream, Haver, or similar databases.

Solid conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Strong logic and analytical abilities to identify key issues clearly.

Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Effective time management, with the ability to learn, prioritize, and execute quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
