Position Overview:
We are seeking an Intern, AI Trust Consultant to support our Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET). This intern will help drive governance initiatives across critical areas, including Privacy, Risk Management, Process Improvement, Data Governance, Data Management, and the AI Lifecycle. This position is key to ensuring that our AI systems align with organizational values, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. The successful candidate will collaborate across various departments to manage trust risks, support AI governance processes, and ensure that AI projects adhere to company-wide standards.
The role will requires both technical skills and a passion for AI security and privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team on the execution of AI governance and data management strategies to enhance organizational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk, compliance, and engineering, to implement privacy and AI governance standards.
- Learn how to manage trust risk assessment to ensure data used, models developed and intended purpose of AI solutions all comply to our Trusted AI policies, privacy and security standards.
- Assess and drive risk postures across a diverse set of AI systems and technologies.
- Help develop frameworks to evaluate and continuously improve AI model transparency, fairness, and security and develop recommended risk optimization.
- Support the integration of AI governance best practices into ongoing product development efforts, ensuring scalability and compliance with global standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time graduate program with an expected graduation date in 2026
- Experience and/or passion in Data Science or Machine Learning
- Knowledge of privacy and security
- Solid understanding of engineering concepts and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data cards and models card
- Prior experience in ML or Data Science
- Previous projects on AI trust and security
